THROUGH CARE FOR CHILDREN
Throughout this season as we ReDisover Christmas, we will prepare for the entrance of Christ into our world. Often, children help us experience the Christ event anew; therefore, our mission emphasis for this season will focus on vulnerable children and youth through the following ministries:
- Angel Tree Prison Fellowship
- Bethlehem Center
- Good Samaritan Center
- Guardians of Justice
- Kairos Torch

PUMPKINS TO FEED THE HUNGRY
Pumpkins have been donated to Society of St. Andrew to feed the hungry through local agencies such as Stewpot and Gleaners. We need your help baking a pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread or whatever you like pumpkin! SoSA will provide the instructions for cleaning and pureeing for you to bake your favorite dessert or bread. The pumpkins will be available for pickup at the church. The latest date to return your baked item to the church is Thursday, November 19th.
THANKSGIVING MEAL FOR GRACE HOUSE
If you would like to assist Grace House Mission Coordinator, Jonathan Hill, as our church provides and serves lunch on Thanksgiving Day for the residents of Grace House, please contact Missions at 601-914-7108 or email missions@christunitedjxn.org.
FUNDRAISER FOR MISSIONS
$10 per bag
We now have a HONDURAN coffee available for purchase on Sunday mornings at the Missions Table in the Great Hall. Stop by for a sample of this rich smooth coffee. Our Missions Blend and Decaf is still available. The cost is $10 per bag, $4 of each purchase will go to support international missions of the church.
